Bar examinations in the U.S are
tough and not easy to pass; so law students go through a hard time preparing
for it. In fact, the California Bar exam is the toughest for which a lot of
hard work and preparation is required. This is why; most students opt for a
preparatory course that will guide them and provide them the study materials
required to prepare well for the examination.
Tips for Passing the Bar Exam
The first step in doing well in the
CA Bar exam is to join the California Bar exam preparation course. It is
foolhardy to take the exam without a prep course. Start early and follow the
course instructions carefully. Since, the examination is both general and
State-specific, it is extensive. Hence, it is important to space out your
preparation instead of ‘binge studying.’ The California Bar exam prep gives due
importance to performance tests which should be practiced thoroughly. Allot
enough time for the MBE and practice a lot of challenging questions generally
asked in this section and then take a simulator. Expect to get questions on new
subjects. For example, in the February 2015 MBE, there were questions on civil
procedure and federal jurisdiction.
